Life of Pi

Assalamualaikum...& Bonjour!
It's been a long time I've not posted anything on this blog..haha
Been busy. Been bored. Been lazy.
So many excuses..
Sigh.

Ok, so today I felt like sharing something.
A movie that I've watched at the cinema.
Quite a good one actually.

it's called:  LIFE of PI (pronounce as pie)

It's a story based on novel as seen below. About a 16-year-old boy who loses his entire family when a freight ship sinks and is stranded on a lifeboat with an orangutan, hyena, a zebra and a Bengal tiger named Richard Parker. Sounds interesting to me because it's a unique story. A story you've never heard or see or even think about before. That was what attracted me to watch this movie. To read the full synopsis, you can try search at GOOGLE.

This movie takes you on a journey (a roller coaster one) actually. Not just with the physical (I meant with the beautiful scenes and CGIs), but also mentally & emotionally. I felt what PI had to go through and there are times you laugh, felt touched and sad.

The cast are superb I might say. If not this movie won't be a success.

There are a lot of lessons you can learn from this movie.
About courage and survival.
About how human and nature/animals complete each other and yet there are boundaries between them.
About God, faith and religion.
About how dependable we are to God.
About saying goodbye. A proper goodbye. Like how many times we take someone for granted especially our parents. Have we thank them for everything they gave us? Have we said sorry for all the wrong doings? Then, we only realize that it's too late to say all of those things when they've already gone.

 I should say it's a must watch movie. :)
Au revoir!
